Winter Meetings 2009/2010

Everybody is welcome.

Location - meetings are held at the Good Shepherd Centre, Royal Fold, Mytholmroyd, West Yorks.

Date and Time - usually the first Thursday of the month from October to May at 7.30 p.m.

1st October - Edie Jolly - Bumble Bees

5th November - Mark Dempsey (Calderdale Council) - Planting for Wildlife & Green Waste Composting.

3rd December - Jayne Pierre (TEG Environmental, Chorley) - Recycling of Cooked Food Waste

7th January - Gordon Nelson - Raised Beds

4th February - Richard Pearson - Garden Design

4th March - Sam Lowi from Burnley Permaculture Group on Permaculture

8th April - Peter Foley - Hardy Plants for Cold Places.  (there will be plants for sale)

6th May - AGM plus Colin Shaw - Organic Small Food Gardens and Container Gardening

Meetings are free to members. There will be an opportunity at meetings to discuss any items that members wish to raise.  Non-members pay £1 entrance fee which helps towards the hire of the room plus any expenses for speakers.
